Prof. Fernando Albericio

Fernando Albericio holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (1980). After postdoctoral work at Tufts University, Université d’Aix-Marseille, and the University of Minnesota, he became an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona. He later served as Director of Peptide Research at Milligen-Biosearch in Boston (1992-1994) before returning to Barcelona, where he became a Full Professor and served as Executive Director of the Barcelona Science Park (2005-2011). His research focuses on peptide synthesis, combinatorial chemistry, and drug delivery, with over 650 publications, several review articles, 42 patents, and three co-authored books.
